People always told me you got the eye for photography and I always accepted their wonderful comments. I thank God for giving me this talent to showcase it to the world.

I saw a post on Jonathan's Facebook page, stating: "Today [Wednesday, June 3rd, 2015] starting at 11 a.m. EST at Madame Tussauds New York Times Square, the first 100 fans to arrive will get an incredible up close experience..." I thought to myself, "Hey, I have some time during lunch to go check this out."
When I arrived at Madame Tussauds, to my surprise, there were no lines. I asked someone at the front desk if the "Brother vs. Brother" show was still going on. (I thought there would be a taping of the show with a large audience watching).
They radioed for a Property Brother's representative and she came down to greet me. She told me to wait in the line outside to see if any other fan would show up. No one came. So, she escorted me up the stairs. Another guy asked me to sign a media release form, and I did. After climbing to the last set of stairs, I had to catch my breath. She asked if I had my camera with me and I said, "No, just my cell phone." I gave it to her to take some photos. We went through these huge red velvet curtains.
As I entered the room I saw many Property Brothers team members, and they were lined along the glass window which overlooked the busy Time Square street below. Everyone was looking at me, and I didn't know why. To my surprise, I saw what appeared to be the wax figures of the brothers, Drew and Jonathan Scott. I felt a bit disappointed, but I thought to myself, "Oh well, at least I can take a photo with them and pretend they were real."
As I walked up to the "wax figures," I remembered I had my fleece on so I turned back to take it off quickly. The team was smiling as they watched me. I still wasn't aware of what was happening.
Like all visitors to Madame Tussauds, I struck a pose between the two brothers and gently rested my hand on Jonathan's shoulder. Seconds later, Drew moved from his wax stance and turned to me, reaching towards my tie, he yelled "awww" to scare me. He scared the crap outta me! I screamed so hard. I never imagined they would be there. I reflected afterwards that I should have known because Jonathan's shoulder felt a bit warm.
This was a dream come through. I always said to my family and friends, and anyone within hearing distance, that I love the work by the brothers. They excel at what they do. I always said I would like to meet them one day; and, surely, God made a way for me to meet them without joining a line or using money to go see them. One day, I know they will renovate my dream home!
